Health Dimensions
The 4 dimensions of health that are effected by the behavioural change of exercise are physical health, social health, emotional health, and mental health. The reason why a exercise behavioural change can affect these four dimensions is because they are all interconnected and posses a domino affect. Having them so intertwined can create a very positive outcome when achieved.
Physical Health
Physical health is a very important aspect of my life. I belief is we don’t have a good base of physical health, it can severely affect other dimensions of health due to the fact that all the dimensions are intertwined with each other. By going to the gym two to three times a week will help with improving my health both on a muscular and cardiovascular level. Benefiting the body to help with living a longer and healthier life.
Social Health
Social health can be considered the art of society manipulation, others would say its the need to be wanted and welcomed by your peers. A well known definition of social health is the capacity for satisfying interpersonal relationships, interacting with other and adapting to various social situations, communications, skills and other daily activities. By going to the gym, it allows anyone to be placed into a environment where you are exposed to people with similar goals as you do to achieve a healthier life style. Also going to the gym will help with your confidence which will open many new doors to friends and a whole different life style.
Emotional & Mental Health
Emotional health is what controls are day to day life while mental health plays a huge role, and is important for every person to have god sense of mental health. Both your emotional and mental health feed off of each other, so when your mood is sad your mental state of mind is depressed. The way that enhancing my exercise behaviour has been know to release natural endorphins that create a positive feeling. That positive feeling in return then places your mental state in a positive move as well.
