Occupational Health
A sense of good occupational health according to the text book is the satisfaction a person receives from their career development, this involves attaining and maintaining a satisfying between work and leisure. Having this perfect balance will help allow a normal life instead of always being at work and never having time with family and friends. This equal balance gives up the time to wind down from work and give us the revitalization time we need for another day.
Occupational health was one of my strongest dimensions with a score of 35, I love going to my job, knowing I can help someone and possibly make a difference in at least one persons life. Even with my future career choice i share those same values and can not wait until i have the chance to fully be able to do that job. The strength I have right now with in the occupational health is having a happy balance between work and home and contribute positively to the world. My weakness is that sometimes I am not so willing to go to work. This is usually do to a unpleasant job I’m a being forced to do that day or not feeling well. Every job has those moments but during the holidays and working retail it is extremely hard. I am trying to improve this by walking into work with positive frame of mind and by not allowing small little tasks effect my work day.
